During his time with WWE, Sandow portrayed a variety of characters, including The Miz’s stunt double Damien MizDow, Macho Mandow and he was involved in a variety of alliances with the likes of Cody Rhodes and Curtis Axel.

In addition to working for WWE, Damien Sandow has competed in a variety of promotions around the world.
One such territory that Sandow wrestled in was Puerto Rico for legendary professional wrestler Carlos Colon. The former WWE Superstar revealed that he learned a considerable amount working for Colon:
#4. Damien Sandow recalls his experiences in WWE’s developmental territory Ohio Valley
WWE utilized Ohio Valley Wrestling as its developmental territory in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Names such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton all began their WWE careers in OVW. Damien Sandow was also assigned to OVW in 2003 during that time period. When asked to recall his memories of OVW, Sandow admitted that many of the talents that trained at OVW in the mid-2000s are still close today.

One of Damien Sandow’s most memorable periods during his WWE career was his alliance with current AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes.
Known as Team Rhodes Scholars, Sandow and Rhodes made quite the team before splitting on WWE television in 2013. The former WWE Superstar admitted that the duo never had a bad segment when they worked together:

Many WWE fans still recall fondly Damien Sandow’s ‘stunt double’ gimmick that he portrayed on WWE television during 2014 and 2015.
After being paired with The Miz, Sandow began mimicking the former WWE Champion during matches, falling down whenever his tag team partner did.
Sandow revealed that the character all stemmed from boredom and the WWE creative team having nothing for him:

The highlight of Damien Sandow’s career came in 2013 when he successfully captured the Money in the Bank contract, turning on is partner Cody Rhodes in the process.
Many within the WWE Universe assumed this would lead to a WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign for Sandow.
Unfortunately, Sandow became the first WWE Superstar to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase and lose. The Intellectual Savior To The Masses was defeated by then-World Champion John Cena on RAW in October 2013.
