And now as we’ve already come halfway through this month, so it’s time to predict some more things that we might see happening next month in WWE. So, today in the feature let’s take a look at those surprises, including new rivalries, some title changes and a few more swerves that could possibly take place next month.
#5 Andràde Cien Almas becomes new the United States Champion
So far Shinsuke Nakamura reign as the United States Champion has been the most underwhelming reign in the recent history of WWE. Since winning the title Nakamura and his title have been barely put up on notice.
Also, now his upcoming match is against the Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series PPV. And I guess, his match against the red-hot Rollins will certainly give him some momentum that he has lost so far.
While now speaking of Andràde Cien Almas, since his call-up to the main roster he has shined like a champion and has proven himself very well, though being put up in a tough spot.
Thus far on the main roster, Almas has been a part of some quite notable feuds such against Rusev, Sin Cara and many more, but he has never fought someone like Shinsuke Nakamura. So, I guess we might see these two men fighting over United States Championship sooner rather than later.
And I guess Almas may very well face Nakamura for the title next month at WWE TLC PPV. And if he finds a way to defeat the Rockstar then who knows we might see a new United States Champion. Since the title isn’t not doing any benefit to Nakamura.
#4 The Miz and Daniel Bryan gets in WWE Title picture
The feud between The Miz and Daniel Bryan was seen to come to an end this past month at WWE Super Show-Down PPV where Bryan defeated Miz in under five-minute to become the new contender for AJ Styles’ Championship.
But it seems that the fight between the two men is far from over.
As two men have already reignited their feud since they were named the co-captains of team blue (Men) for this year’s Survivor Series. Also, Bryan recently faced off Styles for the WWE Title but unfortunately, came short. So, be seeing how their feud ended with just a single bout, I guess a match between the two men is coming down the road sooner rather than later.
Also, inserting The Miz in the WWE title pictures will be a fresh breath of air for them and for the fans too. Also, Bryan and Miz are highly expected to battle each other at next year’s WrestleMania with WWE title on the line.
And I guess, if this is the scenario then we might see a match between The Miz, Daniel Bryan, and AJ Styles for the WWE Championship next month at TLC PPV.
#3 Charlotte becomes three-times SmackDown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair at WWE Hell in a Cell PPV for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, ending her 28 days reign. And following her loss, Charlotte challenged Becky for the title a couple of times but unfortunately, she failed to recapture it.
And according to a rumour, Lynch’s big win over Charlotte in the last women standing match was all just so she could lose her title clean next month at WWE TLC PPV to Charlotte.
Also, Becky Lynch will take on Ronda Rousey this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series PPV for the first time and I guess, Rousey will single-handedly defeat her. So, I guess, as soon as Survivor Series PPV will get over we might see Charlotte Flair challenging Lynch for a title match next month at TLC PPV, hopefully winning.
#2 Dean Ambrose becomes the new Intercontinental Champion
The duo of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came to an end when the latter attacked Rollins just after the few hours of Roman Reigns’ illness announcement. And be seeing the way this feud is shaping it’s easy to predict that we’ll see these two men squaring off against each other next month at TLC PPV as Rollins is already booked to face Shinsuke Nakamura this Sunday at Survivor Series PPV.
So, next week on Raw you can expect these two men to continue their feud.
And I guess, when these two men will collide next month, possibly for the Intercontinental Championship, it’ll be the Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose who will stand tall defeating his former Shield buddy Seth Rollins and hopefully becoming the new Intercontinental Champion.
So, next week you should better keep a close eye on Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
#1 Drew McIntyre becomes the new contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship
Earlier this month at WWE Crown Jewel PPV, Braun Strowman faced-off Brock Lesnar for the vacated WWE Universal Championship. Unfortunately, for Strowman he came short due to a cheap shot pulled off by Corbin on Strowman before the match even got started.
Also as some of you may already have known that earlier, this year’s the hosting arena of TLC was advertising Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin but now it has been changed to Strowman vs Drew McIntyre, possibly due to the forthcoming reports of Strowman’ bad behaviour at backstage.
Also, according to the rumour, the aforementioned match is supposed to be the main event of upcoming TLC PPV with a possible stipulation of “winner becoming the newest contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship”.
And due to the latest reports of Strowman arriving late on shows and leaving a little bit early may very well have pulled him away from the Universal Championship picture. So, I guess due to the points mentioned above, McIntyre may very well emerge as the next challenger for Lesnar’ title, hopefully winning it.
